What's included in the PDF report
The PDF report is a polished, print-ready document suitable for sharing with clients, stakeholders, or internal teams. Here's a full breakdown of every section.
Cover page
The cover page displays the property name, audit date, the overall score and letter grade, and the auditor's branding (your logo and company name on Professional/Enterprise plans, or the GA4 Audits logo on Starter). It's designed to be left as-is when sharing with a client — it provides immediate context without opening the document.
Executive summary
The executive summary is designed for non-technical stakeholders. It includes the overall score with a brief interpretation, the highest-priority findings in plain language, the pass/fail summary, and a severity distribution chart that shows where the biggest risks sit.
The executive summary is written to be forwarded directly to a CMO, CTO, or client contact who doesn't need the technical detail but needs to understand the scale of the problem.
Module scores
A module scorecard follows the executive summary. Each active audit module is listed with its individual score, letter grade, and a count of passed, failed, or skipped checks. This gives a quick visual indication of which areas are strong and which need the most work.
Full findings list
The bulk of the report is the full findings list, grouped by module and sorted by severity within each module. Each finding entry includes: the check ID, severity badge, check name, finding description (what was detected), impact statement (why it matters), and remediation steps (what to do about it). Critical and high findings are given more visual prominence with coloured severity indicators.
Branding
On Professional and Enterprise plans, the PDF reflects your configured branding profile: your logo appears on the cover page and in the header of each page, your brand colours are used for section headings and severity badges, your company name replaces "GA4 Audits" throughout, and your custom footer text appears on every page. To configure branding, go to Settings > Branding in the dashboard.
File size and quality
PDF reports are typically 1–4 MB depending on the number of findings. The PDF is generated using WeasyPrint and is text-based (not rasterised), meaning findings are fully searchable and copyable within any PDF viewer.
