Getting Started
Exporting PDF, PPTX, and Excel reports
Every completed audit can be exported in three formats: PDF for sharing, PPTX for client presentations, and Excel for tracking remediation. Here's what each includes and how to download them.
Downloading a report
From any completed audit, click the "Export" button in the top-right of the audit page. A dropdown shows three options: Download PDF, Download PPTX, and Download Excel. Each format is generated on demand — click the format you want and the file will download within a few seconds.
All three formats are available on all paid plans. If you're on a free account, only PDF is available and it will include a GA4 Audits watermark on the cover page.
PDF report
The PDF is a polished, print-ready document designed for sharing with stakeholders or clients. It includes a cover page, an executive summary with the overall score and key findings, module-by-module score breakdowns, and the full findings list with severity badges and remediation steps. A chart visualising the severity distribution is included in the executive summary section.
PPTX report
The PowerPoint export is built for agency use and client presentations. Slides are structured one module per section, making it easy to present findings in a structured walkthrough. The deck includes a title slide, a score summary slide, and one findings slide per module. You can open and edit the file in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote.
Excel report
The Excel export contains one row per check with columns for check ID, module, severity, status (pass/fail/skip), the finding description, and the recommended fix. This format is designed for remediation tracking — you can add a "Status" or "Assignee" column and sort by severity or module to manage a fix sprint. It's also useful for comparing check results across multiple audits by exporting and merging sheets.
Branding on exports
Professional and Enterprise plans support white-label branding on all three export formats. When a branding profile is configured (logo, brand colours, company name, and footer text), those details are applied to every export automatically. On the PDF, the cover page and header reflect your brand. On the PPTX, the title slide and footer use your logo and company name. The Excel report includes your company name in the header row.
To set up branding, go to Settings > Branding in the dashboard. Changes apply immediately to future exports — previously generated files are not updated.
