Account & Billing
Changing your plan
You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time from the billing settings page. Here's how plan changes work and what to expect.
How to change your plan
Go to Settings > Billing in the dashboard. Click "Change plan" to view the available plans. Select your new plan and confirm. Stripe handles the payment change and immediately applies the new plan to your account.
Upgrades: immediate effect
When you upgrade (e.g. Free to Professional), the change takes effect immediately. Your new plan's features — additional audit credits, extra modules, white-label branding (Agency+) — are available as soon as the upgrade is confirmed. You'll receive an email confirmation from Stripe.
Billing for the upgrade is prorated. If you're mid-billing-cycle, you'll be charged only for the remaining days of the cycle at the new plan's rate. Your next invoice will be the full new plan amount.
Downgrades: end of billing period
When you downgrade (e.g. Professional to Starter), the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep all Professional features until then. At the start of the next billing cycle, your account is moved to the Starter plan.
If you've configured branding profiles that are not available on the lower plan, those profiles are deactivated (not deleted) when the downgrade takes effect. If you upgrade again later, your branding configuration is restored.
Audit history after a plan change
All your completed audit results are preserved regardless of plan changes. Downgrading does not delete historical audits. You can still view, compare, and share previously completed audits after a downgrade — you just won't be able to run new audits that use features above your current plan tier.
Annual vs monthly billing
All plans are available on monthly or annual billing. Annual billing offers a discount (typically two months free). Switching from monthly to annual takes effect at the next billing cycle and requires paying the annual amount upfront. Switching from annual to monthly will revert to monthly at the end of the current annual term — there are no refunds for unused months on an annual plan.
